| Wallander DVD series continues from Yellow Bird Films |

 New
films in the Linda Wallander DVD series continue to arrive at stores
in Sweden. The first five films were released in 2005 and three
more have already been announced for release in March and May 2006.As mentioned before, the series begins with Henning Mankell's Before the Frost and continues the story with Linda Wallander beginning her career with the Swedish police in Ystad, working alongside her father and Stefan Lindman. Covers for the first eight DVDs are pictured below:
The titles for several of the films have changed and there might be additional changes made as the final films get closer. For more information on these films, visit either the official SF site (in English), the SF Campaign site (seems out of date) or the Yellow Bird Films site. At those sites you can read a plot synopsis, see stills or watch trailers for the films. If you want to order the DVDs, both DVD.se and DiscShop.se have them in stock and can ship internationally. I've updated Inspector-Wallander.org's Film & DVD Info page with a best guess of the new titles and will be working to get the newly added Yellow Bird Film series page completed. |
