| Swedish Television preparing 3 new Wallander films |

 Swedish Television Channel SVT is now preparing three new Kurt Wallander films based on novels from Henning Mankell according to their web site. One Step Behind will start filming in the summer of 2004 and will be shown in cinema in the beginning of 2005. Firewall and The Pyramid will be filmed in 2004 or 2005.This is certainly exciting and it is comforting to know that Paul Verhoeven will get some competition on One Step Behind. A production of The Pyramid could be the most interesting of the three films as it might show a younger Wallander. Read the full article (in Swedish) at the SVT web site.
