A groundbreaking ceremony to

Center (Kulturcentrum Mankell) has taken place in the northern
province of Härjedalen. The center, named after the best-selling
Swedish author Henning Mankell and based in his hometown
Sveg, is due to open on May 24, 2007. The center is the
first of its kind in Sweden and aimed at bringing together
authors and cultural devotees through literature and storytelling.
