Another article from Norway's Aftenposten reports on an older crime which has recently been solved that bears even more similarities to the fictional crimes in the Faceless Killers. The article is entitled "Another asylum seeker held for murder".

A 20-year-old refugee who says he's from Iraq has been arrested for the murder last autumn of 69-year-old Oslo resident Inger Sund. Sund was found dead in her flat and was last seen leaving a bingo parlor with cash winnings.

As in the Faceless Killers, the accused immigrant apparently spotted an elderly woman carrying cash and followed her home and then murdered her. As a response to increasing crime in recent weeks, Arne Huuse, head of Norway's National Bureau of Crime Investigation (Kripos), has called for greater supervision of asylum seekers.
