Rolf Lassgård as Kurt Wallander in The Man Who SmiledDaniel Imort of has announced a firm date for the Wallander fan meeting in Berlin.
On Saturday, the 3rd of September 2005, the first Wallander fan meeting will take place in Berlin, Germany.

We are glad to welcome Rolf Lassgård, the Swedish actor who played the role of Kurt Wallander in all the movie adaptations of Henning Mankell's books. Beside this special guest, we will also have a screening of the latest Wallander movie "One Step Behind" ("Steget efter") for the first time in Germany.

Afterwards you will have the possibility to ask questions to Mr Lassgård and the people who run the German Wallander fan page for nearly five years now. Finally you can get into contact with other fans and enjoy the buffet…

Tickets for the fan meeting can exclusively be ordered in advance sale on!

Because there are many expenses for the preparation of the meeting, we need to ask for a contribution of 25 Euro from everyone who attends. The buffet is included in this price and the number of tickets is strictly limited to 150. All the money left in the end will be completely donated to PLAN INTERNATIONAL, an organization that helps children all over the world. The organization is also supported by Henning Mankell himself.
