Synopsis
This is a short novel of approximately 90 pages which was distributed as
a complimentary gift to readers in The Netherlands who purchased other crime
novels during the month of June 2004.

Kurt Wallander - the inspector who worked in the area south of Sweden
- in The Grave is looking at a house which he is considering to purchase.
A facelift has been decided necessary, but the house has a large garden
and a beautiful view. While Wallander walks through the garden, he trips
over something. Just as he is on the way to his car to leave, asks himself
what he has stumbled upon. He walks back the garden and sees that it
was a decomposing human hand.
